This time of the year is a great time to surf in North Devon as the North Atlantic is energised by tropical storms spinning up from the tropics. This brings waves to the North Devon coastline, with many surfing options available, to suit beginners and professionals alike. The best beaches for beginners are Woolacombe, Putsborough and Saunton, with Croyde, during autumn and winter, best suited to the more experienced surfer, with its powerful and sometimes violent waves.

Don’t Forget the Dog!
