How to Book
Please complete the booking form and return it together with your deposit of £200 (this includes your non refundable £63 booking fee)
A booking confirmation will be issued indicating the balance payable, which must be paid not less than 8 weeks before your holiday commences. We reserve the right to re-let the accommodation if payment is not received by the due date. Payment can be made over the phone using debit / credit card.
Woolacombe Cottages act only as ‘The Agents.’ to the owners of the property and are not principles. `Applicants` are the term used for those clients wishing to hire a property and `Tenant` is the name given to those applicants who have taken up residency at a property.
Any contract is between the Owners of the property, on one part, and the Applicants or Tenants on the other.
A selection of properties require a damage deposit. Upon inspection of the property, following departure, the damage deposit will be destroyed, assuming no damage has been caused.
In the event of cancellation the agent will make every effort to re-let the property, if successful, the ‘Agents’ reserve the right to retain £50.00 towards administration charges.
Should the property remain un-occupied the applicant is liable for full payment.
Should the agents re-let the property at a reduced rate, the applicants wishing to cancel will be liable for the difference between the rate achieved and the tariff price.
The persons hiring the accommodation shall be exactly as stated on the booking form. All children and pets must be included on the booking form Children are very welcome but young persons are not allowed accommodation unless accompanied by an adult The owners/managers reserve the right to refuse a booking and to terminate the visit of any person whose conduct is unruly, or detrimental to the comfort of other visitors.
The lead nominated guest must be over the age of 21 and present for the duration of the holiday
Woolacombe Cottages reserve the right to request proof of age at any point prior to or during the holiday.
- Tenants agree to ensure property is taken care of and along with equipment is left clean.
- To pay for any optional extras as stated in the brochure.
- Tenants agree to pay for any losses or damages to the property.
- Allow Owners and Agents reasonable access to property.
- Tenants agree not to exceed the total numbers of persons in the property as stated on the booking form.
- Tenants accept responsibility for any children and pets at all times.
The agents aim to ensure that the information provided is accurately conveyed in the brochure.
If the applicant has any specific health or mobility difficulties we request that this is pointed out at the initial reservation stage so a suitable property can be recommended.
All complaints must be brought to the Agents attention immediately so necessary action can be taken. In no circumstances can compensation be made for any complaints made after the tenancy has ended or where the Tenant has denied the Owner or Agent the opportunity to put matters right.
The Agents reserve the right to adjust prices quoted in the brochure, on supplements or on details to properties due to errors or omissions.
The agents accept no responsibility on behalf of the owners for any loss, damage, injury, or accident that may occur during the tenants holiday.
Woolacombe Cottages and the changeover service can not be held responsible for any cleanliness / maintenance issues arising when guests access prior to the designated arrival time thus not allowing the changeover / maintenance team the opportunity to fully prepare the property.
Woolacombe Cottages act as letting agents the availability of facilities as described at the time of booking are beyond the control of the agents. However we aim to update our guests to any changes as we become aware of these. The tariff rate charged is for the property no additional rate is paid for the advertised facility unless stated.
Are allowed in some of our properties, as stated in the details. There is a charge of £20 per pet per week (unless stated differently on property page). However, we cannot accept responsibility for their safety, and they are accepted only on the understanding that they are kept under control. At no time should they be left unsupervised on the premises or allowed on the furniture or in bedrooms.
Some properties describe an enclosed garden this does not mean it is totally escape proof.
We do not permit smoking in any of our properties.
All our properties are fully equipped for self-catering holidays. Duvets and pillows are provided. Bed linen is not always included in the price please check at the time of booking. If required, cots, high chairs and bed linen can be hired for a small additional charge.
We ask our guests to have holiday cancellation insurance. This can be taken out through the ‘applicants’ choice of company. Alternatively the agents can recommend details of a company.
Accommodation will be available from 5pm, we ask our guests to have departed by 9.30am on the day of departure.
